ABOUT

The County of St. Paul & Elk Point FCSS provides designs and delivers services that are preventive in nature and assists in increasing independence by strengthening coping skills.

Family & Community Support Services (FCSS) designs and

delivers social programs that are preventative in nature to

promote and enhance well being communities. FCSS is a

unique 80/20 funding partnership established in 1968 between

the Government of Alberta and Settlements.

The County of St. Paul & Elk Point FCSS provides designs and delivers

services that are preventive in nature and assists in increasing

independence by strengthening coping skills. We encourage

and assist in enhancing the cooperation between FCSS

organizations and other Agencies.

What We Do

We help people to develop independence, strengthen

         coping skills and become resistant to crisis.

 We help people develop an awareness of social needs.We help people develop interpersonal and group skills which enhance

         constructive relationships among people within the community.

We help people and communities assume responsibility for decisions

         and actions which affect them.

We provide support to help sustain people of the

         community through community action. 

Our Goals

  1. Make all services affordable and accessible for everyone.

  2. Provide more opportunity and recognition for volunteerism in our communities.

  3. Create a sense of community and acceptance for all.
